Homemade throwing knife

There is the only one negative aspect of making knife at home: process require heating and slow cooling.

If you are in the country, you will need to fire coals. Put your metal parts there and wait, sometimes fanning the embers. Look closer at the next photo and you will see glowing file among coals. So heat your metal to the dark red

... and let it cool slowly. Use an angle-grinder machine, cut unnecessary parts and make a sharp corner

The center of mass of knife must be at the location where the handle passes into the blade. If you do not match, you need to drill some holes to move the center of mass.

When sharpening a knife will be completed, it is necessary to heat homemade throwing knife again to make it stronger. Heat it to the red glowing and then rapidly put it into the water. Then heat again up to ~250 degrees (not glowing) and left it for slowly cooling.
